Though I am excited to have launched a new blog recently, GUN CURIOUS, I have not forgotten about this blog and my unfinished series of posts on the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show last month.

The first gun I owned that I shot regularly was my CZ Redhead 12 gauge over & under shotgun, now discontinued but purchased for around $700 in 2011. So I always enjoy looking at the sporting shotguns at gun shows.

I made sure to stop by the Perazzi booth when I was at the SHOT Show. Not accidentally, once there my eye was drawn to a four gauge (12, 20, 28, 410) set of over & under shotguns. Absolutely stunning.

Aaaaaaand slightly out of my price range, for now.

When I got home I made sure I said, “Hello CZ my old friend, I’ve come to talk with you again.” No worries about my cheating on the Redhead with a Perazzi any time soon.
