Many of the grieving families of students and adults gunned down at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, say they have yet to hear a word from President Donald Trump, who has referenced the February massacre at political rallies.

BuzzFeed News said it reached out to eight families of the 17 killed and found that seven have not received a condolence call from the White House.

Fred Guttenberg, whose daughter Jaime was shot dead, told BuzzFeed: “To me, in his position, it would have been the right thing to do, but no one’s obligated … However, don’t use my daughter’s life for a political moment, and that’s what he did …”

Trump did meet with one family that BuzzFeed contacted. The White House did not respond to BuzzFeed’s requests for comment.

According to police, Nikolas Cruz, 19, who had earlier been expelled from Douglas, stormed into the school wielding an wielding a AR-15 and shot dead 17 students and staffers.
